Planning an elopement can be overwhelming, with so many beautiful locations and experiences to choose from. That's where I come in.
As your elopement expert, I'll help you:
My passion for wedding photography began after my own wedding experience. I know how crucial it is to find the right photographer, so I dedicate myself to providing not just stunning images but an unforgettable experience. I'm your cheerleader, travel buddy, and planner all in one, ready to make your elopement the Adventure of a lifetime.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm exploring Washington's beautiful trails, paddle boarding in local springs, or enjoying the ocean air with my dog and husband. A Tolkien enthusiast, my dream destination is New Zealand. I can't wait to meet you and be a part of your incredible journey.
Iceland offers plenty of adventures, from exploring ice caves to relaxing in hot springs. Make your day as adventurous as your love story, ensuring it's memorable and enjoyable, not just picture-perfect.
Even though you're eloping, there are still details to manage, like obtaining your marriage license, securing location permits, and arranging for witnesses. Make a checklist to ensure a stress-free celebration, or you can download ours for free here.
Iceland's weather is best in the summer months (June to August) when the days are long and the weather is mild. However, winter elopements offer a chance to see the Northern Lights. Iceland's weather is notoriously unpredictable. Pack layers, waterproof gear, and be prepared for sudden changes in weather conditions.
Elopements are intimate by nature, so personalize your celebration. Write your own vows, choose meaningful music, and incorporate special touches that reflect your relationship. Whatever it is that makes you two unique as a couple, include it.
Whether you're drawn to the dramatic waterfalls, the black sand beaches of Vik, or the otherworldly landscapes of the Golden Circle, pick a location that reflects both of your personalities, and your love story. You won't regret finding the perfect spot that really represents who you are as a couple.
A great photographer can help you plan your elopement, guide you through getting necessary permits, scout out the best locations, and capture stunning photos that you'll cherish forever. Make sure you're hiring someone who knows the area well and can help with these elements, especially where safety is concerned. This is what I do for all my couples eloping in Iceland.
Planning an elopement can feel overwhelming, but I'm here to make it stress-free and unforgettable. Download my free checklist to help you get started in planning your elopement.

Summertime has longer days and the most mild weather. I personally love Iceland in July & August but if you want to avoid the crowds then choosing a shoulder season (June & September) will still give you more mild weather than winter. However, no matter the season you can experience all types of weather in one day while traveling in Iceland so bring layers and come prepared!

Depending on where you're planning to elope, you might need a permit, especially in national and state parks. Check with the specific park or location in advance to make sure you have all the paperwork sorted out.

If you're wanting an officiant for your elopement then I will help you choose the perfect one for your ceremony. You can also choose to exchange personal vows to each other without an officiant - which can be even more special.

Wear what makes you feel amazing, but also be practical about the weather. For outdoor spots, think of layers and comfy shoes. If you're heading to the highlands or a canyon, hiking shoes and a rain coat might be a good idea. Always check the forecast and be prepared.

Definitely! Iceland is the EPITOME of adventure elopements. Hike to a stunning waterfall view, drive off-road in the highlands, eat local fare in a pub, or even take a helicopter tour! Make your day as adventurous as your love story.

Personalize your elopement with touches that mean the most to you. Write your own vows, choose a meaningful location, and add special elements that reflect your relationship. Plan a unique activity like a private dinner, chasing the Aurora Borealis, or soak in a cozy hot tub to celebrate.

If you're eloping somewhere remote, make sure you're well-prepared. Bring along all the essentials like food, water, and safety gear. Let a friend or family member know your plans and location. Always have a backup plan in case of unexpected weather or other surprises.
