When I first met Nicole and Brian I just loved how funny and comfortable they were. Brian is a seemingly tough guy who likes his raspberry lattes (also lots of dad jokes!) and Nicole is a BA roller derby chick on the local Orlando roller derby team! As they described the vision for their wedding – simple, small, and in a really cool Mayan temple in Maitland – I just knew that I had to photograph their big day. Safe to say I think we all became friends and I am so excited to share this wedding preview!
Nicole and Brian’s day started off with a lot of gray clouds and rain (must be a theme – see my last post). Fortunately the storms cleared up just in time for their beautiful wedding ceremony at the Maitland Art Museum in the gorgeous Mayan Temple. Nicole’s tea length dress was gorgeous with her bird cage veil, perfectly capturing those retro vibes!
