This Florida Boat Elopement on the Treasure Coast was so much fun! This is another example of why sunrise elopements are SO worth it, especially if you are eloping on the east coast of Florida.
Andrea and Kevin woke up before dawn to get ready and have Wild Tress Studios finish off Andrea’s look with professional hair + makeup. Then we met at the marina and loaded up all of our things into the boat! A + K hired a captain for the morning so they could have an extra laid back elopement, which I highly recommend even if you are an experienced boater.
Once we were all settled we took off to chase the sunrise for A + K’s vows. The waves were a little choppy but the sunrise was PERFECT and A + K were absolutely glowing after exchanging vows. They both wrote personal vows which is my absolute favorite because they are always so meaningful.
After their vows we headed towards a locally known island in the inter-coastal for Pub subs and key lime pie. BUT on the way we definitely took some time to celebrate with coconut mojitos and spraying champagne off the side of the boat! K did a great job being our mixologist with the mojitos and I loved how both A + K pitched in to make them together.
Once we got to the island, K carried A off of the boat and we hung out with our Publix subs and some nice cold beers. A + K also decided to have a key lime pie (so Florida!) instead of a wedding cake which is so unique!
We couldn’t be on our own island (all to ourselves I might add) without having some time in the water! A + K changed into their bathing suits and we had a ton of fun relaxing in the water. Definitely want #bridesinbikinis to become a thing – just look how stunning A is in her white bikini!

When I'm not behind the camera, I love spending time with my dog hiking the beautiful Florida trails, out on my paddle board in our local springs, or spending quality time with my husband exploring local events. When it's been too long since my last beach day, I have cravings for that perfect mix of saltwater and ocean air.
