Mt. Rainier Elopement | Cozy A-Frame Cabin in Packwood, WA

Keelie + Keifer said their vows in front of Mt. Rainier just outside of the park. We opted for an overlook that was easily accessible and still have us gorgeous views of Rainier and the mountain range. Rainier was playing hide and seek with us a bit as the clouds began to roll in but the effect was so dreamy!

After saying their vows we explored the area and enjoyed the views of the mountains. We hoped for a clearer peek of Mt. Rainier but in the end we were happy with the moody cloud covered mountain that was given to us that evening. K + K decided to head back down the mountain for some celebratory drinks at Packwood Brewing Co. and then we headed back to their A-frame cabin for a cozy bonfire while they enjoyed the views of the river.

As K + K cuddled under a blanket in front of the fire we watched as the stars came out and took some more photos with the lanterns during blue hour (the hour right after the sun goes down). Blue hour can provide such dramatic and romantic photos and I love incorporating other sources of light to make the mood even moodier!

Check out the stunning photos below of Keelie + Keifer’s vows, portraits, and their cozy post-elopement bonfire!

When I'm not behind the camera, I love spending time with my dog hiking the beautiful Florida trails, out on my paddle board in our local springs, or spending quality time with my husband exploring local events. When it's been too long since my last beach day, I have cravings for that perfect mix of saltwater and ocean air.
