Talk about a MAGICAL Washington forest wedding! X+Y started their day off getting ready in their cozy A-frame cabin in Packwood, making coffee together and spending a slow morning cuddling in front of the fire. I love when couples make sure to “schedule” in downtime during their elopement day. It makes everything so much more relaxed and intimate – the perfect way to spend an elopement day!
x+Y got ready together at their cabin and then we hopped in the Jeep and drove out into Gifford Pinchot National Forest. I had the perfect spot picked out, it was an easy walk from where we parked the Jeep and there’s a gorgeous river running nearby. There was even a spot for camping or making a fire which would be a cute activity to add to an elopement day!
We set up their ceremony spot with candles (LED candles so we weren’t a fire hazard!) and then X+Y pulled out their vow books with personal vows to read to each other. It was so cute watching X get emotional when Y started reading their vows! Of course we stuck around for a while and took photos next to the river and on the nearby trail. The sun was coming through the trees in the most perfect way, it was absolutely *chefs kiss*!
After celebrating their elopement by the river we drove back into Packwood and stopped at Packwood Brewing Co. to finish off our night with some drinks and yummy food. This elopement was such an amazing day and I’m so glad that I got to help K+N create a day that felt true to them, without the stress of having a large wedding! <3

When I'm not behind the camera, I love spending time with my dog hiking the beautiful Florida trails, out on my paddle board in our local springs, or spending quality time with my husband exploring local events. When it's been too long since my last beach day, I have cravings for that perfect mix of saltwater and ocean air.
